Albert is an undergraduate chemistry major participating in research on HCOF materials through the senior research fellowship program, a highly selective program that allows seniors to devote the majority of their senior year on a research project that can count as a first or second major after a successful thesis defense before graduation. He initially joined the Ke group in the spring term of his freshman year through the Freshman Research Opportunities in Chemistry (FROiC) program.
